I thought Swiftweasel
2.0.0.13 was done, But when I started the 64bit version of 2.0.0.13 it
had pango enabled. The fonts were awful. I had reinstalled the build
system a few weeks ago because of issues with the operating system. An
old config was used by mistake. I quickly removed the 64bit versions
from the repository and I am rebuilding them. They will be done by
morning. If you got one in the short time it was avilable, sorry.
The 32bit versions are looking nice, so if you use an i386 version of
Swiftweasel install it and enjoy.

I have learned that Kempelton, the default
theme for
Swiftweasel will be updated for Firefox 3.0. The updated version will
become the default theme for Swiftweasel 3.0 at some point .

Due to numerous bugs in the 3.0 Beta 4 I
have started work
on an update to beta 4. Beta 4.5 is looking good, test builds show no
sign of the starting, bookmark, or home icon problems. Hopefully I can
get tarballs up on Sourceforge
today.

Builds of Swiftweasel 3.0 beta 4 are done.
Tarballs are already on Sourceforge and debs are being
uploaded to Sourceforge as I write this.

I have fixed the issues with Swiftdove
2.0.0.12 working on
Ubuntu Gutsy (7.10) . I am currently building the tarballs, if all goes
according to plan I should be releasing them late today or early
tommarow.

I have the builds of Swiftdove 2.0.0.12
are done. I am
uploading them as tarballs to Sourceforge as I write this. Deb files
should be ready and in the repsitory late tonight or early this morning.

builds. Barring any problems the tarballs will be ready soon, then the

The Swiftweasel 3.0 beta 3 builds are up
on Sourceforge in
tar and deb format. They can only be ran on Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn)
and up. This is because of build requirements from the Mozilla code.
This may or may not be the case of the final release.

I am working on Swiftweasel 3 beta 3. It
appears that
changes to the code from Mozilla require pacakges that are not in
Ubuntu Dapper Drake or Edgy Eft. This is going to slow production of
the the packages as I now have to setup a 32bit Feisty Fawn build
enviroment. I have a Feisty Fawn 64bit server so it will save some time.
This may also result in users running Dapper Drake/Edgy
Eft being
unable to run Swiftweasel 3.0 if the dependancies can not be worked
around. If that ends up happening I will continue to build Swiftweasel
2.0 as long as possible. But the builds will be by request only. I will
set up a forum topic for those requests only if the final release of
Swiftweasel 3.0 can not be installed to Dapper Drake/Edgy Eft.

The 2.0.0.12 version of Swiftweasel is
uploaded to the
repositories and the tarballs are on Sourceforge. I will be uploding
deb files to sourceforge overnight as I have a few things I need to do
online and it takes up a lot of bandwidth. If you use a deb file you
might want to give our repo a try. Details on it are on the wiki.

Thanks to everyone who posted comments on
Wikipedia about
keeping the Swiftweasel page there. The page is not going to be
deleted. Im glad that Swiftweasel is used and recognized.

I recieved an email today that the Wikipedia
entry for Swiftweasel
has been proposed for deletion. If you edit Wikipedia and would like
for it to stay please go there and cast a vote to keep the Swiftweasel
page.
